Tasha Layton is an American Christian music singer and songwriter. She was born on the 27th of October, 1982, in South Carolina. She started getting known to the public in 2010, as a contestant on the 9th edition of American Idol, with judges like Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry. She was in the same group as Andrew Garcia and Vanessa Wolfe. While she didn’t win the contest, she got a chance to audition to join Katy Perry’s team on a world tour, which led to her spending four years touring alongside Katy Perry, in more than 30 countries. She has also worked for Cirque du Soleil and Disneyland. Her debut radio single “Love Lifting Me” was a total success, and her debut album “Love Running Wild” released a few months later was also very well received by the public.
