Restless Heart is an American country music band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 1984. The current members of the band are Larry Stewart on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Greg Jennings on lead guitar, Paul Gregg on bass guitar and lead and backing vocals, Dave Innis on piano and keyboard, and John Dittrich on drums and lead and backing vocals. The band was created by the record producer Tim DuBois to release demos of songs he had created. In 1985 they released their debut studio album titled Restless Heart. The album charted at number 10 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, They have since released the albums Wheels, Big Dreams in Small Town, Fast Movin’ Train, Big Iron Horses, Matter of the Heart, Still Restless, and A Restless Heart. The band has released seven studio albums, two compilation albums, and one live album. Four of their albums have been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. They have had 26 singles chart on the Billboard Hot Country songs chart with six reaching number one. They have released music through the labels RCA Nashville and Audium/Koch.
