Bob Saget is an American comedian, actor and television host. Born in Philadelphia, he originally intended to become a doctor, and on the urging of his teachers, pursued a career in acting. Originally starting in the Los Angeles Comedy Circuit, he was known for his unique style of humour.

After a short time working on The Morning Program, Bob was cast as Danny Tanner in the highly successful television show, Full House, where he worked alongside Bob Saget and John Stamos from 1987 to 1995 and then on the continuation of he show, Fuller House from 2016 to present, portraying Danny Tanner. He also well known for being the voice of old Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother, and is a board member of the Scleroderma Research Foundation.
