Eddie Griffin is an American comedian and actor. Starring in such films as The Meteor Man, Double Take, Scary Movie 3 and Norbit, Griffin graduated from Compton High to move to New York City and pursue a career in comedy.

Griffin has also starred in well-known shows such as Malcolm & Eddie, in which he played the titular Eddie Sherman alongside Malcolm-Jamal Warner. Griffin has also worked in shows such as Chappelle’s Show and most recently Black Dynamite as Richard Pryor. With two awards to his name such as two Best Actor wins for the film Last Supper. Griffin has also released four live comedy albums, the latest was titled You Can Tell’em I Said It and was released through Comedy Central in 2011.
