Overcoats are a New York based duo, comprised of Hana Elion and JJ Mitchell, performing electro-pop music with a folk tinge. Their music is sometimes referred to as “folktronica,” an apt description, and sometimes compared to canadian indie band Tegan and Sara. They got a break by being featured in LA Music Blog’s “Featured Artist” in 2015, launching them on a tour of the EU and US.

Overcoats have released a self-titled EP and a full studio album, “Young” (2017). National Public Radio favored the album with the review “One of the best albums of 2017.“ They’re still pretty new on the music scene, but rising talents worth keeping an ear on.
