Token is the stage name of the American rapper, born as Benjamin David Goldberg. He was born on September 24, 1998, in Boston, Massachusetts, but grew up in the town of Salem. Token has used rapping as a therapy method for his learning disability which Token has been battling with from a young age. He started writing songs at the age of ten, and as a suggestion from his friend, he decided to release some of the songs on Twitter and YouTube. He became initially famous for his hit music video No Sucka MC’s and the follow-up video called Still No Sucka MC’s. in 2016 he released his debut album, named Eraser Shavings and in 2018, his second studio album, named Between Somewhere, followed.
