Saskwatch is the name of a soul-funk alternative independent music group formed in 2008, and based in Melbourne, Australia by Nkechi Anele. The band displays an always changing line but the most recurrent members besides Anele are Ed Crocker, Liam McGorry, Nic Ryan-Glenie, Olaf Scott, Robert Muiños, Sam Boon, Sam Raines, Tom Pettit and Will Morrissey. Anele the vocalist of the group is a multifaceted person, and he has a parallel career as a radio host of the specialized radio show “Roots N All” of triple j. The band released the album “Leave It All Behind” in 2012, soon followed by “Nose Dive” in 2014. The next year they released “Let It Come Between Us” and two years lather “Manual Override”. In those years, they were able to perform on the biggest stages and festivals in Australia, including WOMADelaide, Splendor In The Grass, Bluesfest, Falls and Meredith.
