Nicolas Jaar is a Chilean-American composer and music producer based in New York. He started his music career in the New York underground electronic music scene, performing as a DJ and musician at local venues. He released two songs in his mother tongue, “Mi Mujer” and “El Bandido”. In 2011 he released his debut album “Space Is Also Noise” which earned praises from critics and a four stars review from The Guardian. He toured the album for the next three year, and he was named #1 Live Act on Resident Advisor. In 2012, he made his BBC’s radio show debut. In 2015, he released the single “Pomegranates” which explored Middle Eastern sounds. His second studio “Sirens” was released in 2016 and the Rolling Stone magazine ranked it as number one Electronic Album of the year.
