Coming from New York City, The Winery Dogs was formed in 2012. The band compose of vocalist and guitarist Richie Kotzen aka Poison or Mr. Big, bassist Billy Sheehan aka David Lee Roth, Mr. Big, and Steve Vai, and drummer Mike Portnoy. Their musical influences are those from the ‘70s classic rock.

They started to test their music in 2012, but was not able to produce any output. But an intense series of recording sessions through the years resulted to their debut EP and was released in summer of 2013. Their second release entitled “Hot Streak” followed in 2015.
