Coming from Selkirk, Scotland, Frightened Rabbit is an indie rock band found in 2004. Founding members Scott Hutchison, together with his brother Grant, preferred to keep their last name as secret and started off to write and perform their music. They then invited their friend Billy to join them perform in Glasgow’s pubs and music venues.
In mid-2006, Frightened Rabbit released their first album “Sing the Greys” under their very own Hits the Fan Records label. The people admired their music that distributions in UK and US was made through the independent label Fat Cat. They became much recognized when they played a showcase at the 2007 South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas.
