Beatenberg is a pop music band based in South Africa. It is made up of Matthew Field, Ross Dorkin, and Robin Brink. Field and Durkin studied together in college and then met Brink. They are each talented on their own but decided they were better as a band. Despite being pop music, one of their biggest idols is Beethoven.

In 2012, Beatenberg signed with Universal Music and went on to become known nationally through their collaboration with DJ Clock. The song, “Remember You,” was the top song on South African Radio for almost five months. They released their album The Hanging Gardens of Beatenberg, which also garnered nationwide attention. They won several awards and were nominated for others at 2015’s South African Music Awards.
