Born in August 25, 1963, Shock G or legally known as Gregory E. Jacobs, is of Brooklyn, New York descent. He is currently the lead rapper for the group Digital Underground. He also has the alias Humpty Hump. He is the person behind 2Pac’s single “I Get Around” and co-produced the album “2Pacalypse now”.

Aside from that, he also worked on Digital Underground’s “The Humpty Dance”. Shock G was voted as “Most Talented” during his stay at Greco Junior High School because of his superb drum-playing skills. Though having a New York origin, he grew up in Tampa, Florida. Among his known works is the special edition “Cherry Flava’d Election” in commemoration of President Barack Obama’s inauguration in January 20, 2009.
