Born in September 5, 1975, Criolo (Kleber Cavalcante Gomes) is a rap and hip-hop artist from São Paulo, Brazil. Criolo had a number of smaller performances throughout São Paulo before releasing his first major album “Ainda Há Tempo” in 2006. His popularity increased in the wake of his next several albums, 2011’s “Nó Na Orelha”, 2014’s “Convoque Seu Buda”, and 2017’s Espiral de Ilusão. Criolo would go on to find fame as a Brazillian artist with singles like 2018’s “Boca de Lobo” and 2019’s “Etérea”, each of which were nominated for latin Grammy awards.
