Boards of Canada is a band from Edinburgh, Scotland which is made up of Marcus Eoin and Mike Sandison. The said band was formed back in 1986. The band held several shows under the collective group Hexagon Sun. Their Twoism EP was released in 1995 and the group released Boc Maxima the following year. In 1998, Boards of Canada released their debut album Music Has the Right to Children which contains the song “Roygbiv.” The said album had a positive reception and it entered the Top 100 Albums of the 1990s by Pitchfork. It also entered the list of 100 Modern Classics by Mojo. Other albums by Boards of Canada include Geodaddi (2002), The Campfire Headphase (2005), and Tomorrow’s Harvest (2013). They also released the EP Hi Scores 2014 Edition.
