Melbourne alternative rock quintet Sleepazoid has signed with global booking agency ROAM for live music and touring representation across South America, Europe/UK, and Central America. The deal is led by agents Jess Kinn and Roan Evans.

The Naarm-based five-piece, comprising lead vocalist and guitarist Nette France, bassist Josef Pabis, drummer and vocalist Luca Soprano, and dual guitarists George Inglis and Jim Duong, will continue their domestic relationship with Cult Artists for live touring in Australia, while remaining on the management roster at TEAMWRK Management under manager Evie Steer.

Formed in 2024 by France and Pabis, Sleepazoid combines the driving rhythms of post-punk with shoegaze textures and raw grunge energy.

The band broke out with their self-recorded and self-produced debut EP, Running with the dogs, earning national rotation on triple j and playlist support for singles such as “RWTD”, “RATS”, and “ALICE”.

That momentum translated into high-profile live opportunities, including a showcase spot at BIGSOUND and national tour support slots across Australia for American singer-songwriter Faye Webster.

In early 2026, the band released their sophomore EP New Age, engineered and produced by Jack Nigro, before embarking on a headline tour across Australia’s east coast.

Partnering with ROAM establishes a dedicated international booking pipeline for Sleepazoid as they plan their first overseas touring routes.

The signing highlights a steady expansion of ROAM’s alternative and rock roster, following recent representation agreements for Mexican cumbia-punk group Son Rompe Pera, California indie outfit Mildred, and Lisbon noise-rock trio MAQUINA..

Takeaways

Sleepazoid’s partnership with ROAM represents a classic, strategic territory carve-out that allows a fast-rising act to scale internationally while protecting their home turf.

By maintaining their existing relationship with Cult Artists in Australia and their management foundation at TEAMWRK, Sleepazoid avoids disrupting the team that built their domestic momentum.

Handing off Europe, the UK, Central America, and South America to ROAM gives them access to top-tier international festival networks and touring circuits right as their recorded output hits a stride with New Age.

For ROAM, bringing Sleepazoid into the fold reinforces the agency’s keen eye for distinctive, high-energy guitar bands capable of delivering dynamic live performances on global stages.

How quickly will Sleepazoid convert their strong Australian live reputation into key festival slots across the UK and Europe? Will expanding into Central and South America open up non-traditional touring circuits rarely targeted by emerging Australian alt-rock acts?
