Lisbon trio MAQUINA. has signed with global booking agency ROAM for live music and touring representation across Europe and the UK, excluding Portugal. Agent Julia Wasielewska is leading the deal.
The band: Halison Peres (drums, vocals), João Cavalheiro (guitar), and José Rego (bass), continues with Pointlist for Portuguese bookings, remains under the management of João Araújo, and remains with Fuzz Club for record label representation.
MAQUINA. builds its sound around krautrock repetition, industrial techno, and noise, a mix that has turned its live shows into a word-of-mouth phenomenon: more than 250 gigs and numerous festival dates across Europe, built largely on the strength of its stage show.
The signing lands weeks after the band released its second album, BODY TRANSMISSION, on July 10, 2026, via Fuzz Club, the same label behind 2024 debut PRATA.
The new record, co-produced with Hugo Valverde, trades the extended jams of its predecessor for tighter, club-ready tracks and opens with “dança,” a collaboration with Dame Area.
MAQUINA. is also coming off its first tour of Brazil and a KEXP session recorded at Trans Musicales 2025, with fall festival dates lined up, including Brighton Psych Fest, Manchester Psych Fest, and Positive Futures Festival in Innsbruck.
The deal adds MAQUINA. to a run of ROAM’s 2026 European guitar-and-alternative signings. The agency has added South London post-punk band Dry Cleaning for representation worldwide, excluding North America; West London instrumental group Long Distance Runner for the same territory; and New Zealand producer 9lives for Asia and Europe/UK.
Formed in September 2025 from the merger of Arrival Artists and ATC Live, ROAM represents more than 800 artists globally, including Fontaines D.C. and Amyl & The Sniffers, giving MAQUINA. access to established touring infrastructure across a continent it has spent years building show by show.
