Rachaad White has signed with Roc Nation for representation, and he’s keeping William Raymond Communications on for public relations.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted White in the third round (No. 91 overall) in 2022 out of Arizona State. Over four seasons in Tampa, he built a case as one of the league’s more versatile backs, totaling 4,106 yards from scrimmage and 25 touchdowns before hitting free agency this offseason.

White landed with the Washington Commanders on a one-year deal in March 2026, reuniting with former Arizona State teammate Jayden Daniels. That contract was negotiated by agent Sunny Shah of Prolifiq Sports Group, White’s representation before this signing.

Now 27, White has already turned heads in OTAs and minicamp, putting himself in position for a real role in Washington’s backfield rotation this season.

The move adds White to Roc Nation’s expanding football book, run out of the Jay-Z-founded company’s sports division. It’s been a busy stretch for the agency: Roc Nation recently signed WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes for Film/TV representation and added R&B artist Brent Faiyaz for management.

This same week, Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland signed with 3 Arts Sports for management, a sign of just how active football representation has been through 2026.

Takeaways

On paper, this is a modest pickup (White’s on a one-year, $2 million “prove-it” deal), but the timing lines up with real opportunity. He’s coming off a strong OTA showing heading into a contract year where a good 2026 season could reset his market.

Roc Nation’s football roster keeps quietly growing alongside its higher-profile music and Film/TV signings, and White gives them another established skill-position veteran to build around ahead of next spring’s free agency.

Is White chasing bigger marketing opportunities, not just his next NFL contract? Could a strong 2026 season in Washington reset his market value for 2027 free agency? Is Roc Nation quietly positioning itself as a real challenger to agencies like CAA or Athletes First in football?
