Grip Boost, the Parkland, Florida-based grip technology company, unveiled its new Big Skill 2.0 Lineman Gloves on August 4, fronted by Denver Broncos guard and two-time First-Team All-Pro Quinn Meinerz.
Unlike most football gloves, designed for skill-position players, Big Skill 2.0 targets the trench work of line play: hand fighting, blocking, and pass rushing. The gloves pair Kevlar-reinforced construction with a hybrid leather-and-tack palm, thermoformed EVA impact protection, and built-in wrist padding.
An extended cuff and breathable materials round out the build, available in six colorways (black, white, blue, red, yellow, and grey), each shipping with a ventilated glove bag.
“Playing on the offensive line is about winning with your hands,” Meinerz said. “You need protection because every snap is contact, but you also need grip and control to finish blocks.”
Grip Boost’s CEO said the launch was built to recognize linemen specifically; players who “have always done the dirty work” without gear designed for how they actually play.
The gloves arrive as Meinerz enters a new contract year. Since signing a four-year, $80 million extension in 2024, he’s started all 17 games in three straight seasons and earned back-to-back First-Team All-Pro honors; the Broncos restructured his deal in March 2026 to free up salary cap space.
For Grip Boost, it extends a growing athlete roster: Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill took an equity stake in the company after endorsing its gloves, Dodgers utility man Kike Hernández switched to its batting glove technology this past March, and the brand has also released signature colorways with veteran receiver DeSean Jackson.
The launch lands amid a busy stretch of camp-season athlete tie-ins across the NFL, following Bo Nix’s renewed Mizzen+Main ambassador deal, Colston Loveland fronting Vuori’s Breathe Collection campaign, and Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, and Micah Parsons headlining New Era’s 2026 NFL Sidelines Collection.
