Nara Smith, the model and content creator known for her elaborately dressed, whisper-narrated cooking videos, has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for representation.

The deal splits across two departments: Brandon Lawrence will represent Smith for film and TV theatrical opportunities, while Christian Carino takes on brand partnerships.

Smith continues to be managed by Eman Redwan, who signed her to Range Media Partners for management across all areas this past April.

Smith was discovered by IMG Models at 14 through the agency’s “We Love Your Genes” campaign, before relocating to the U.S. at 18. She’s since built a following of more than 17 million across TikTok and Instagram, known for videos of herself preparing meals from scratch while dressed in designer looks.

She’s set to release her debut cookbook, Homemade, on October 13 via HarperCollins, featuring 85 from-scratch recipes drawn from her multicultural upbringing.

The CAA deal marks Smith’s formal entry into film and TV representation, arriving as the agency keeps building out its creator-focused roster. This week alone, CAA added Australian mother-daughter duo Kat Clark and Déjà Clark for brand partnerships and digital representation, and signed comedy-music duo Grant & Ash of A Twink and a Redhead for representation.

Takeaways

This is an addition, not a shake-up: Smith keeps Redwan and Range steering her overall career, while CAA slots in to open doors her management-only setup couldn’t reach on its own, namely scripted and unscripted screen work.

It’s also the latest sign that CAA doesn’t treat “creator” and “traditional talent” as separate tracks anymore; Smith joins a growing 2026 class of internet-native names the agency is betting can cross over into film, TV, and brand deals at scale.

Does landing CAA’s theatrical department signal that Smith is eyeing scripted or hosted TV work next? Could Homemade‘s October release become the next project CAA helps expand into TV or brand tie-ins?
