  • Harry Kane and Declan Rice have signed long-term global ambassador deals with Finnish health-tech company OURA, fronting the newly launched Oura Ring 5.
  • The campaign kicks off immediately with major digital out-of-home activations at Piccadilly Circus, BOXPARK Wembley, and Canary Wharf, plus primetime TV spots timed around this summer's football calendar.
  • Rice had already been using the Oura Ring before the official deal, this partnership formalizes what was already part of his everyday recovery routine.
  • Oura has been aggressively building its sports portfolio in 2026, also named the Official Wearable of U.S. Soccer, Team USA, and the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

OURA has locked in two of England’s biggest names. The Finnish health-tech brand announced long-term global ambassador partnerships with Harry Kane and Declan Rice on June 11, 2026.

Both players are set to front the Oura Ring 5, the brand’s latest smart ring, launched in May 2026 and 40% smaller than its predecessor, measuring health signals from the finger for accuracy advantages over wrist-based wearables.

The partnership begins at a major moment in both players’ careers, with Kane continuing his role as England captain and Rice stepping into the vice-captain role on the international stage this summer.

For Rice, it’s also a personal endorsement, he confirmed he had already been using the Oura Ring before this deal, and that it has since become part of his everyday routine.

On the brand side, Kane and Rice join a growing roster that includes Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed on as an Oura brand ambassador and investor back in 2024.

Beyond individual athletes, Oura was named the Official Wearable of U.S. Soccer in April 2026, covering all 27 national teams, and has also secured a landmark five-year deal with the United States Tennis Association, becoming the first official wearable partner of the US Open.

Away from Oura, Kane has been building his commercial portfolio steadily, he holds a lifetime boot deal with Skechers and recently starred in Skechers Razor 2 Boot Campaign with Anthony Elanga and was named an Eveready Global Brand Ambassador in October 2025.

Rice, meanwhile, became a L’Oréal Paris UK and Ireland ambassador in late 2025, with campaigns running across London’s transport network into 2026, recently appearing in the Burberry Match Day campaign.

The Oura x Kane x Rice campaign features high-footfall digital out-of-home placements at Piccadilly Circus, BOXPARK Wembley, and Canary Wharf, alongside primetime TV spots around major football moments this summer.

Takeaways

This isn’t just a football deal, it’s a signal of where athlete partnerships are heading. Oura isn’t chasing vanity metrics; it’s building credibility in performance sports by recruiting athletes who can speak authentically to recovery and readiness. The fact that Rice was already wearing the ring before signing says more than any press release.

For Kane and Rice, partnering with a health-tech brand ahead of a major international tournament is also a smart brand-positioning move, it frames them not just as athletes, but as performance-minded professionals who take the science seriously. That’s a narrative that ages well regardless of tournament results.

And from Oura’s side, pairing these two with Ronaldo and Olympic tie-ups suggests a very deliberate push to own the recovery conversation in global sport in 2026.

Does having Rice confirm he was already a user before signing make Oura’s ambassador strategy more trustworthy than typical celebrity deals? As recovery tech goes mainstream in football, will other wearable brands scramble to sign top players before the market gets crowded?
