- Pop punk veterans Four Year Strong have officially signed with Sound Talent Group (STG) for booking representation across North America, Asia, and Latin America, with agents Jason Parent and Matt Andersen leading the relationship.
- Minneapolis symphonic deathcore act Synestia joins STG’s roster in the same signing wave, expanding the agency’s reach deeper into the heavy metal underground.
- The move marks a continued hot streak for STG, which has been aggressively growing its alternative and rock roster in 2026.
Sound Talent Group (STG) has added two acts to its roster: pop-punk staple Four Year Strong and symphonic deathcore rising force Synestia.
Four Year Strong is an American band formed in Worcester, Massachusetts in 2001, consisting of vocalists and guitarists Dan O’Connor and Alan Day, bassist Joe Weiss, and drummer Jake Massucco.
Over a 20-plus year run, the band has become a cornerstone of the easycore genre, a hard-hitting blend of pop-punk energy and metalcore muscle. Their most recent album, Analysis Paralysis, was released on August 9, 2024, through Pure Noise Records.
With a loyal live following across North America and Europe, signing with STG positions the band for their next major touring cycle.
On the heavier end of the spectrum, Synestia is an American deathcore band from Minneapolis, consisting of vocalist Ryan Vail, bassist Grant Robinson, drummer Byron London, and Sam Melchior on guitars and orchestrations.
The band has released four EPs and one studio album so far, carving out a reputation for orchestral grandeur fused with punishing heaviness.
Synestia was recently booked as a support act for Shadow of Intent’s ‘Imperium Delirium’ North American Tour in spring 2026, signaling that their touring profile is very much on the rise.
STG, founded in 2018, is one of independent music’s go-to agencies for rock and metal acts. Adding two acts from very different ends of the heavy music world shows the agency’s range and appetite for signing artists at pivotal career moments.
This year, STG has also signed other rock acts, including The Ataris and Mind’s Eye, reflecting a consistent trend of the agency growing its alternative and metal roster.
On the management side, Four Year Strong remains with Richard Fernandes at Tandem Management.
Takeaways
This dual signing tells a bigger story. Sound Talent Group isn’t just picking up new clients, they’re strategically bridging two different generations and subgenres of heavy music.
Four Year Strong brings two decades of touring muscle and a fiercely devoted fanbase that has stood the test of time. Synestia, on the other hand, represents the next wave: a genre-fluid, symphonically-driven act catching fire in the deathcore scene right now.
For both bands, landing at STG at this point in their careers is meaningful. Four Year Strong is fresh off a new album and clearly still has gas in the tank.
Synestia is hitting an important growth stage; their touring profile is expanding fast, and having a dedicated booking agency behind them could fast-track that trajectory significantly.
With STG now representing both Four Year Strong and Synestia, could we see these two acts sharing a stage on a future co-headlining or package tour? Is STG quietly building the definitive punk and metal booking roster, one signing at a time?
