  • Revolut taps Erling Haaland as the new face of its "Welcome to My Bank" UK campaign, created with agency Anomaly.
  • Campaign films place Haaland inside cryotherapy chambers and football warehouses, spotlighting Revolut savings, RevPoints, and personalised cards.
  • A high-impact OOH billboard launched June 4 at Printworks Manchester, running through June 10, planted directly in Haaland's home turf.
  • The Haaland campaign is the second instalment of Revolut's "Welcome to My Bank" series, which debuted with Graham Norton in March 2026 following Revolut's UK banking licence approval.

Revolut, the newly licensed UK bank, has unveiled Manchester City striker Erling Haaland as the face of its latest “Welcome to My Bank” campaign, developed with creative agency Anomaly.

The campaign places Haaland in exaggerated versions of his daily routine, checking interest earnings from a cryotherapy chamber, tracking RevPoints surrounded by footballs, to highlight Revolut’s savings, loyalty programme, and personalised cards.

This is in addition to Revolut’s existing partnership with Manchester City as the club’s global partner and official back-of-shirt partner for both the men’s and women’s first teams.

Just as Graham Norton fronted the campaign’s debut instalment, this second chapter signals Revolut’s intent to build a multi-personality campaign roster. A high-impact OOH installation dropped June 4 at Printworks Manchester and runs until June 10.

Beyond Revolut, Haaland has been busy off the pitch. He holds a long-term Nike boot deal reported at around $24 million annually, and has been a Dolce & Gabbana brand ambassador since 2023.

On the pitch, Haaland has helped Norway close in on their first World Cup appearance since 1998, reaching 30 goals through 19 appearances this season.

For Revolut, celebrity-backed finance campaigns are becoming a playbook staple, similar to Scott McTominay leading Bank of Scotland’s charity banknote campaign and Shaquille O’Neal partnering with Credit One Bank.

Revolut’s broader partnership portfolio includes the Audi Revolut F1 Team and NBA London 2026, positioning it as a lifestyle brand well beyond traditional banking.

Takeaways

Revolut is playing a smart layered game here. By opening with the beloved Graham Norton and following up with one of football’s most commercially potent stars, they’re building a campaign universe that reaches across demographics (from casual TV audiences to sports-obsessed fans).

Haaland’s robotic, deadpan persona makes him the perfect straight-man for comedic banking content, and the Manchester OOH placement keeps it hyper-local and culturally grounded.

This isn’t just a celebrity face-slap on an ad, it’s a positioning statement: Revolut wants to be as much a part of your lifestyle as sport, performance, and ambition.

Can Revolut’s “Welcome to My Bank” campaign successfully convert Haaland’s fanbase into banking customers, or is the audience too young to switch banks? Could we see Revolut roll out a third campaign instalment with another major celebrity, building this into a recurring franchise?
