- New York Giants stars Cameron Skattebo and Jaxson Dart star in a new Crocs ad campaign
- The spot is a comedic "chill harder" contest between the two teammates, ending with Skattebo drinking out of a Crocs slipper
- The campaign drops ahead of Giants training camp, which opens July 30 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia
Cameron Skattebo and Jaxson Dart have swapped the huddle for the spotlight, teaming up on a new campaign for Crocs.
The playful ad opens with the two Giants teammates on a video call, instantly sparking a competition over who can “chill harder.” Dart brags about his setup before the spot cuts to Skattebo getting a poolside massage, then back to Dart relaxing in a high-tech massage chair. Skattebo ups the ante, taking a swig straight out of a Crocs slipper and letting out an energetic “WOO” for the camera.
The campaign follows a similar playbook to Crocs’ recent star-studded pushes, including The Kid LAROI’s partnership and Pete Davidson’s wedding-themed spot for the brand, both leaning on humor and star power to keep the clog brand culturally relevant.
For Dart, the deal adds to a fast-growing endorsement portfolio that already includes Beats By Dre, Dick’s Sporting Goods, EA Sports and, most recently, a Mother’s Day collaboration with blanket brand Minky Couture.
Skattebo, meanwhile, has been just as busy off the field while recovering from a season-ending ankle injury, recently adding Lovesac, Fanatics Authentic and energy drink brand BUM Energy to his roster of deals, on top of his rookie-year Nike signing.
The pairing itself isn’t new; Dart and Skattebo have become one of the NFL’s most talked-about rookie duos, previously joining forces for a Bounty rapid-fire interview and a denim-themed photoshoot.
This marks their first joint outing for Crocs, a brand with a deep bench of celebrity collaborators, including Post Malone’s five-time run, Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny, and Diplo.
The spot arrives just weeks before the Giants open training camp on July 30, with Skattebo expected to return to full health for 2026 under new head coach John Harbaugh.
Takeaways
This isn’t a one-off; it’s a preview of how brands are packaging NFL friendships as a marketing asset. Crocs didn’t just sign one player; it bought into the Dart-Skattebo chemistry that’s already gone viral organically.
Expect more brands to court the duo as a pair rather than individually as their popularity rises heading into a pivotal 2026 season.
Will more brands start signing athlete duos instead of single stars to capture built-in chemistry? Could this be the start of a longer-term Crocs relationship, similar to Post Malone’s five-deal run? How much of Dart and Skattebo’s marketability is tied to their on-field success versus their off-field friendship?
