Latvian basketball standout Kitija Laksa has signed with The Fam for off-field representation.
The partnership comes during an eventful season for Laksa. The Dallas Wings signed her to a rest-of-season WNBA contract under an injury exception following a season-ending knee injury to rookie guard Azzi Fudd.
The signing reunites Laksa with Wings head coach Jose Fernandez, who coached and recruited her at the University of South Florida. During her USF career, Laksa scored 1,764 points, earned 2016 AAC Freshman of the Year honors, and set an NCAA Division I single-game record by sinking 11 consecutive three-pointers.
Selected 11th overall by the Seattle Storm in the 2020 WNBA Draft, Laksa has built an elite international career. A Latvian national team member since 2013, she captured the 2024 EuroLeague Women and Turkish Cup championships with Fenerbahçe.
Moving to Italy, she led Beretta Famila Schio to the 2025 Serie A title, earning All-Europe First Team and All-Europe Shooting Guard of the Year honors.
In North America, Laksa played 33 games for the Phoenix Mercury in 2025 before the Toronto Tempo selected her in the 2026 expansion draft.
Laksa was previously represented by sports agent Lindsay Kagawa Colas at THE·TEAM. Her addition highlights rapid 2026 growth for The Fam across women’s basketball. Earlier this year, the agency signed Christeen Iwuala, Jordan Harrison, and Indya Nivar for representation.
With an active roster spot in Dallas and a championship-winning international resume, Laksa is poised to grow her commercial footprint with The Fam.
