Ferragamo is putting shoes back at the center of its story. The Florentine house has unveiled “La Mania Delle Scarpe,” its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, shot by Johnny Dufort and released this week.
The cast blends established faces with new ones. Supermodels Anok Yai and Vittoria Ceretti join model Thibaud Charon, while actors Jingyu Huang and Ning Chang make their campaign debut after being named Ferragamo’s newest global brand ambassadors. Styled by Lotta Volkova, the images lean maximalist, with the cast surrounded by scattered stilettos.
The centerpiece nods to art history: Yai sits atop a 1994 sculpture by artist Willie Cole, built entirely from colorful pumps. Creative director Maximilian Davis said Cole “takes everyday objects… and distorts them,” tying the piece to his recent Surrealism-inspired collections.
The campaign also revives archival silhouettes, including a stiletto dating to 1954 and an architectural sole first developed in 1957.
For Yai, this is something of a homecoming. She fronted Ferragamo’s Spring/Summer 2021 campaign and opened the brand’s runway show this year, on top of a breakout 2025 that saw her named the British Fashion Council’s Model of the Year and included on TIME’s 2026 list of 100 most influential people. She’s also fresh off fronting Gucci’s Monte Carlo campaign this June, alongside Amelia Gray.
Ceretti brings her own momentum. She carried Italy’s flag in Armani at the 2026 Winter Olympics opening ceremony and was named Giorgio Armani’s Global Makeup Ambassador in February, alongside a Ferragamo history that includes the brand’s 2023 “New Renaissance” campaign.
This is also Ferragamo’s second star-studded moment this summer. Weeks earlier, José Mourinho fronted the brand’s “Legends, Reimagined” global campaign, joining ski legend Alberto Tomba and NCT’s Jeno Lee on Ferragamo’s growing ambassador roster.
Takeaways
Ferragamo is playing two games at once: leaning on proven muses like Yai and Ceretti to anchor credibility, while using fresh ambassador signings like Huang and Chang to open new markets.
Pairing that with a contemporary-art collaboration signals a house trying to feel both heritage-rich and culturally current at the same time.
With Yai fronting both Ferragamo and Gucci campaigns this year, is she becoming 2026’s most in-demand face? Could the Willie Cole collaboration open the door to more Ferragamo x contemporary-artist tie-ins?
