Carter Faith is the face of LoveShackFancy and Cotton Incorporated’s third “American Icons” campaign, a romantic Western Americana fantasy scored by Faith’s single “Betty.”

The visual story sees Nashville through a pink lens, vintage dressing rooms filled with roses, rhinestone microphones, and festival stages bathed in rose-colored light.

The 25-year-old North Carolina native released her debut album Cherry Valley via MCA Nashville in October 2025, earning an ACM Award nomination for Album of the Year, the first debut album to earn the nod in over ten years.

She’s currently touring in support of Cherry Valley as a support act for Post Malone and has a Netflix film debut, Heartland, on the way. Faith was also previously recognized as an Amazon Music Breakthrough Artist and featured in CMT’s Next Women of Country campaign.

Much like Peggy Gou’s recent Beauty of Joseon sunscreen partnership, where music identity drove fashion credibility, Faith’s campaign is a natural cultural fit. The Cotton Collection includes flowing chiffon lace dresses, patchwork minis, and cherry prints, alongside two looks designed exclusively for Faith.

This marks the third consecutive “American Icons” collaboration between LoveShackFancy and Cotton Inc., following the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in 2025 and Olympic gymnast Suni Lee in 2024.

The brand has also recently co-created campaigns with Victoria’s Secret Pink (twice), Stanley, Crocs, and Gap featuring Ciara.

And just as KSHMR’s OneOdio headphone launch showed how artists can anchor a brand’s credibility through authentic storytelling, this campaign leans hard into Faith’s indie cowgirl identity rather than just borrowing her name.

Rebecca Hessel Cohen, LoveShackFancy’s founder and creative director, described Faith as “part Nancy Sinatra and part vintage Dolly Parton,” the perfect modern heroine for the campaign’s vision.

Takeaways

This campaign is a textbook case of strategic brand-artist alignment. Carter Faith isn’t just a face here, her music literally scores the campaign, making the partnership feel lived-in rather than transactional.

For LoveShackFancy, choosing a debut-album ACM nominee on the rise, rather than an already-established star, is a calculated bet that pays off in cultural freshness.

Cotton Inc. continues to use this platform to prove that cotton isn’t just a commodity; it’s a cultural statement. Pairing it with country music, americana, and tour activations is smart consumer marketing: it meets fans exactly where they are.

With Carter Faith’s star trajectory accelerating fast (a Netflix film, ACM nomination, and now a major fashion campaign), could this be the beginning of a broader long-term fashion ambassador role for her?As more artists score their own brand campaigns with their own music (à la Beyoncé x Levi’s), is this the new standard for authentic celebrity-brand collaborations?
