What is the best way in your opinion to reach a celebrity to partner with on a business venture?

By partner I mean do an equity deal. So far I have built 2 successful companies. BluMaan.com & Forteseries.com using a model where I partner with influencers to bring brands to market.

My previous two partners have been YouTubers. Now, I am hoping to partner with an A list celebrity to create a mental health related course & app.

What do you think? Appreciate the feedback and thoughts!

I think you mean't to post a response, not a comment: https://prnt.sc/rca3df

To answer your question. I can't speak on the popularity without knowing the numbers, but I can say from the managers that I've spoken with, they all like these deals a lot. Managers get paid off of percentage of the deal, so these deals can be really lucrative for them and the celebrity. Now with that being said, they typically will want to get cash upfront along with equity, not just equity alone. I would guess that the deals that are 100% equity are very small, and the management + the celebrity would really need to believe in the team and the company to do this.

The best point of contact for this would be the manager. These types of deals are very popular right now, and many managers seek to make these types of deals in place of a big up-front cash offer if they believe in the venture and the team.

I think the first thing is to of course find celebrities who can relate to the course/app that you are building, as its more likely to go through if there is some type of alignment. The bigger celebrity that you are looking to partner with, the more the company and venture will be reviewed by the team.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the response! Any thoughts on the landscape of these deals and the current popularity?
