Does the length of the emails we sent to celebrities representatives really matter?

We want to make it clear to prospective endorsers why they should work with our company, but we keep reading advice to keep our query letters brief. Does it really matter how long our queries are? How can we tell them about our mission if the ideal query is only a couple short paragraphs?

Shorter queries that get straight to the point definitely get better results. Prospects are usually too busy to read a long query anyway, so even if you put in the time and effort to craft a superb narrative about the merits of your organization, it is unlikely that they will read all of it. The good news is that this does not mean you can’t include a way for them to find out more. You can easily insert a link to your organization’s website. That way, if they are interested in your query, they can view the additional information at their own convenience, without it getting in the way of the primary request in your query.

If you want to take this a step further, you could even craft an exclusive landing page dedicated to directing query prospects for more information. This way, you control exactly what information they see first when they visit your site.
