Thanks for the answer about the money, first question is what is the rider contract, second question is do I put the artist on the contract to sign or is it legally binding by their representative?

The rider contract is basically the requests made by the artists as conditions of putting on a performance, requests like a dressing room, security,technical and stage set up, transportation, meals, etc. This contract must be attached to the performance contract. The rider contract must be signed by the performance artist and the event planner.

Tour rider is an addition to the performance contract, which contains requests from artist (such as hospitality, transport, meals,..) that you agree to provide, during their travel and the event.
Regarding contract, think that representatives have authority to sign contracts and offers.
