Tropkillaz is a Brazilian electronic music duo made of DJ's Ze Gonzales also known as Zegon, and Andre Laudz also known as Laudz. They began jamming together in 2012, while they both had solid careers in the music industry. Zegon was known for being half of the duo N.A.S.A., and for his frequent collaborations with established artists like Wu-Tang Clan, M.I.A. and RZA, while Laudz was a renowned DJ and he had collaborations with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg under his belt. They began releasing music as Tropkillaz in 2013, with tracks like “Assets” alongside Yellow Claw and “Hardcore”. In 2015, they released their breakthrough single “Mambo”, a trap remix of an Italian classic, which was an instant success, bringing them worldwide attention. In 2018, their collaboration with Anitta, Maejor Ali and MC Zaac, “Vai Malandra” reached number 4 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Singles chart.
