Sorana is a Romanian singer and songwriter, from Transylvania, Romania. Her career took off after she competed on the Romanian X Factor, and she signed with Tileyard Music, which led to collaborations with The Chainsmokers and Jason Derulo. The multi-platinum singer-songwriter co-wrote and featured on Alan Walker‘s song Lost Control and released a lot of features with artists like Digital Farm Animals, Tujamo, Goldfish, and The Him.

Sorana signed as an artist to APG/Atlantic and as a songwriter to APG publishing in May 2019. She joined forces with longtime collaborator and superstar DJ/producer David Guetta for her Atlantic Records debut single, RedruM, released in 2022. The song interpolates the melody from Kanye West’s Heartless, who shares co-writing credit for the track with Sorana.
