Scorey, real name Bakari Ward, is a rapper born on 26th November 1998 in Syracuse, New York, United States. In 2020, he signed a recording contract with Polo G’s label, Only Dreamers Achieve Records. Growing up, Scorey listened to rap music from 50 Cent, G Herbo, and Lil Wayne. He started recording his own music in 2018. His first single, “Freddie Krueger” was released the following year. Polo G was impressed with the single and immediately signed him to his record label.

He went on to perform on Polo G’s Die a Legend tour, where he shared the stage with renowned rappers like Tosii and Yungeen Ace. He later joined Polo G’s Only Dreamers Achieve record label, which he had founded in partnership with Columbia Records. Ward became the first artist to sign with the recording label. In March 2021, he released the single “Dior You” under the label.
