Born in 1977, Polow da Don (Polow-Freache Jamal Fincher Jones) is an American rapper and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. Polow got his start in 2005 after collaborating with smash hit stars Fergie, Ludacris, Pussycat Dolls, Kelis, Rihanna, Limp Bizkit, and Jamie Foxx. As part of Interscope Records, Polow has formed his own record label called Zone 4 Inc and has purchased a Nashville radio station WYCZ. Polow has won awards for best producer and club banger of the year, both at the 2007 Ozone Awards. He has also won for songwriter of the year at the Broadcast Music Inc. Annual Pop Awards in both 2008 and 2009 and won producer of the year in 2009 at the same awards show. Taking a break from his producing career, Polow was signed to Sony Records with the group Jim Crow. He released two albums “Crow’s Nest” in 1999 and “Right Quick” in 2001.
