Jermaine Anthony Preyan, best known by his stage name Mack Maine, is a famous American rapper and songwriter. He was born on July 28, 1982, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mack Maine is a school friend with the famous rapper Lil Wayne with whom he attended Eleanor McMain Secondary School. In 2003, Mack Maine attended a freestyle battle hosted by MTV where he was placed at the sixteenth spot out of thousand contestants. Soon, he signed a contract with the Young Money Entertainment and appeared on the official remix of Lil Wayne’s third single called Got Money. Mack Maine released his first mixtape Young Money Vol. 1 and his first album named We Are Young Money in 2009. In 2009, he performed alongside Lil Wayne on his I Am Music tour. He has released three compilation albums and ten mixtapes in total.
