Lovejoy is an indie rock band formed in 2020 in Brighton, England, United Kingdom. Members include Wilbur Soot (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Joe Goldsmith (lead guitar, backing vocals), Ash Kabosu (bass guitar), and Mark Boardman (drums, percussion). Their music blends British indie rock with lyrics often centering around loss, failed romance, and politics.
They worked on their debut album between August 2020 and February 2021. The EP, Are You Alright? included four songs and was released on May 9, 2021.
They released their second EP, Pebble Brain, on October 13, 2021, including seven songs. In addition, the videos for Model Buses, It's All Futile! It's All Pointless!, and Concrete have been released. Their project has debuted on several European charts and the Billboard 200 in the United States.
