Born Kevin Georgiou in London on May 22, 1985, rapper K Koke is part of rap crew USG. His first mixtape, 2010’s Pure Koke Volume One, gained underground buzz, and he signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label in 2011. While preparing to release Pure Koke Volume Two in 2011, K Koke was arrested for attempted murder. He would eventually be acquitted, but he spent seven months away from the music business, and Volume Two fizzled.

2012 saw the release of free download Pure Koke Volume Three – The Missing Tape, which featured many collaborators, including Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s Krayzie Bone on “Way to Go” and Canadian rapper Gangis Kahn on “Toronto to UK.” K Koke’s debut studio album, I Ain’t Perfect – which was to include the single “Turn Back” (ft. Maverick Sabre) – was set for release later in 2012 but was cancelled due to further legal troubles, and K Koke was dropped from Roc Nation.

Singles “Lay Down Your Weapons” (ft. Rita Ora), and “My Time” (ft. Bridget Kelly), were both released in 2013.

In 2015, the rapper was signed to Universal Music. He released singles “Deep In The Struggle” (ft. Aynzli Jones) and “I’m Back Again” (ft. Stefflon Don) in 2016. Mixtape Pure Koke Volume Four was released in 2017.
