Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on July 15, 1992, Porter Robinson is a DJ and electronic music producer who garnered fame when he was only 18 years old after being recognized as #7 on the Billboard 21 under 21 list. He would later follow this success with three albums that went to the #1 spot on Beatport. Porter Robinson’s debut single was titled “Say My Name”, and in 2011, he released the album Spitfire on Skrillex’s label OWSLA. The next year, he was recognized as a co-writer of the hit single “Clarity”, put out by Zedd and was also named an official remixer of songs for Lady Gaga. In the summer of 2014, Porter Robinson appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, which preceded the release of his debut studio album Worlds.
