Melbourne punk four-piece Public Figures has signed with global booking agency ROAM for live music and touring representation across Europe and the UK. Agents Caitlin-Finn Ballard and Duncan Smith are leading the deal.
The band continues with Collective Artists for representation in Australia, and stays with Slow Clap and Damaged Music for music management.
Formed by longtime collaborators Evie Vlah and Gigi Argiro, and rounded out by Lakota Vella and Mary-Lou Hylands, Public Figures write punk songs rooted in identity, power, and resistance.
Their debut EP, Figure It Out!, released via Blow Blood Records, set off a run of momentum: a Golden Plains Festival appearance, a sold-out national tour, and a widely discussed Fed Square set alongside Amyl and The Sniffers. The band has also shared stages with Stereolab, Upchuck, and Shannon & the Clams.
ROAM, formed in 2025 through a merger of established touring agencies, represents more than 800 artists worldwide, including Fontaines D.C. and Amyl and The Sniffers, giving Public Figures access to established European infrastructure.
The signing puts Public Figures alongside a run of ROAM’s other 2026 Europe/UK additions, including Georgia singer-songwriter Robert Lester Folsom’s deal, Nashville folk artist Mynolia’s signing, and Sydney duo breathe.’s move into the territory.
Takeaways
Splitting representation by territory (Collective Artists at home, ROAM abroad) signals a band and team thinking past the Australian circuit that built them.
Figure It Out! already proved Public Figures can pack rooms and turn festival sets into standout moments; the real test now is whether that energy lands with crowds who don’t already know the words.
It also slots the band into ROAM’s fast-growing 2026 roster of rising alternative and punk acts building international infrastructure early in their careers.
Can Public Figures’ sold-out Australian momentum translate to unfamiliar European crowds? Will this signing lead to UK/European festival bookings in the next 12 months? Could a European support slot with an act like Amyl and The Sniffers be next?
