Mario Mirante has signed with Buchwald for digital representation, with agent Mia Conte leading the deal.
Mirante built his following on TikTok, where he debuted in February 2020 with a comedic video narrating his hamster’s antics. Since then, the Pacific Northwest native has grown his @mariomirante account to more than 6 million followers and over 366 million likes, largely through storytime videos, reaction content, and stitches with other creators. He’s also active on Instagram, where he has around 2 million followers.
Conte joins Mirante’s team fresh off her own move to Buchwald. She was hired in May 2026 to help launch Buchwald’s Creator Division, arriving from Bad Moon Talent by Studio Now after an earlier run in partnerships at Twitch.
Her past brand work spans the NFL, Amazon, EA Sports, L’Oréal, Disney, Sony, Red Bull, Jeep, and Coach, the kind of client list Buchwald is banking on to fuel its digital expansion.
That expansion has been steady all year. Buchwald has added creator-economy and multi-hyphenate talent across categories, from Morenike Joela Evans signing for film/TV literary representation to former Mindless Behavior member Princeton Perez joining the agency’s growing digital roster.
The agency also recently brought on Baron Davis across multiple verticals, underscoring how far Buchwald is stretching beyond its traditional lanes. Mirante’s signing slots into that same digital-first push, adding a comedy-driven, high-volume TikTok presence to a division still in its first year.
Takeaways
Buchwald isn’t quietly testing the creator economy anymore; it’s building a full division around it, and Mirante is another data point in that strategy.
Pairing a six-million-follower comedian with an agent who has closed deals for the NFL and L’Oréal is a pretty clear signal of where the agency wants this relationship to go: brand partnerships, and fast.
It’s also worth watching how Buchwald balances quantity with focus. Adding creators, athletes, directors, and musicians all in the same year is a lot of ground to cover for a division that’s barely a few months old.
What kind of brand deals might Conte’s NFL, Amazon, and L’Oréal relationships open up for Mirante specifically? Could this signing push Mirante toward opportunities outside short-form video, like TV or brand campaigns?
