Morecambe-raised, Leeds-based alt-pop artist Lois has signed with independent booking agency 13 Artists for worldwide live music and touring representation, excluding North America. Agent Gabrielle Domanski will lead the relationship.
The deal lands at a breakout moment. Lois’s latest single, “Small Town Party Girl,” released May 22, 2026, was played on Elton John’s Rocket Hour on Apple Music the very next day, a moment she called “incomprehensible” after more than a decade of self-funding her career through café work.
Inspired by her Lancashire hometown, the track follows her 2025 EP “SEVEN,” named BBC Introducing’s EP of the Year, and her 2023 debut EP “Strange Men.”
Lois has built her following the grassroots way: sold-out headline shows, support slots with The Lottery Winners, Etta Marcus, and SOFY, festival sets at Kendal Calling, Live At Leeds, and Liverpool Sound City, and a milestone set at the Royal Albert Hall.
This summer, she supports Sophie Ellis-Bextor at Tileyard North in Wakefield alongside Scouting For Girls and Deco.
She joins 13 Artists during an active stretch for the agency, which recently added rising acts tiLLie and Telekura to its roster. This is part of a broader 2026 pattern of agencies locking in emerging talent early: Cumac Bookings signed London DJ Shae Reid, and ROAM added Brighton’s Big Long Sun for European representation.
Founded by Charlie Myatt in 1999, 13 Artists operates worldwide, excluding the USA and Canada.
Takeaways
This is a classic grassroots-to-agency story; a decade of self-funded gigging and café shifts finally converting into professional representation.
Elton John’s co-sign via Rocket Hour is doing real career work here; that kind of tastemaker moment is exactly what gets an unsigned artist onto an agency’s radar.
Worth noting: 13 Artists’ territory excludes North America, so any future US/Canada touring push will need separate representation. It also fits a wider 2026 trend of agencies moving fast to lock in emerging artists before bigger players get involved.
Will 13 Artists’ European touring network help “Small Town Party Girl” break beyond the UK? Is a North American booking partner the logical next step if her streaming momentum holds? Does this signal 13 Artists is prioritizing UK alt-pop as a growth lane alongside its existing roster?
