  • The band transitions to CAA from United Talent Agency (UTA), which previously handled their live touring across North and South America.
  • Longtime manager Rupert Lincoln at Hill Artists continues to oversee the group's day-to-day operations and career strategy.
  • The signing follows LANY's sixth studio album, Soft, an expanded deluxe reissue, and massive arena and festival box office numbers worldwide.

Alternative pop group LANY, led by frontman Paul Jason Klein and drummer Jake Goss, has officially signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for worldwide live touring representation.

The Los Angeles-based duo previously worked with United Talent Agency (UTA) for live booking across the Americas. LANY will keep their existing management intact under Rupert Lincoln at Hill Artists and retain The Oriel Co. for public relations.

Formed in Nashville in 2014, LANY has grown into a major international touring act, tallying billions of streams and over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

The group holds an RIAA Platinum certification for their breakout anthem “ILYSB,” alongside four RIAA Gold-certified singles: “Malibu Nights,” “Super Far,” “I Quit Drinking” featuring Kelsea Ballerini, and “Mean It” featuring Lauv.

The agency deal arrives during a packed release and touring cycle. LANY dropped their sixth studio album, Soft, in October 2025 and released a deluxe edition with bonus material in March 2026.

The duo supported the record on the road throughout 2026, routing stops through São Paulo, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oslo, Copenhagen, Milan, Manchester, and Dublin. One standout run in April 2026 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center grossed $449,915 from 6,106 attendees.

On the festival stage, LANY headlined the Seoul Jazz Festival and drew massive crowds at Lollapalooza editions across India, Chile, and Argentina.

LANY’s signing continues CAA’s high-profile music division expansion in 2026. The agency recently secured Wizkid for North American representation, brought on breakout country singer Blake Whiten for worldwide representation, and welcomed roots-rock powerhouse Marcus King.

Takeaways

LANY’s transition to CAA reflects how modern indie-pop acts must scale when their international footprints outgrow regional booking arrangements. Paul Klein and Jake Goss have turned online cult fandom into dependable arena ticket sales across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

By consolidating global representation under CAA, the duo gains stronger leverage with top festival promoters and arena venue operators worldwide.

For CAA, securing a proven touring outfit with steady streaming numbers and high box-office returns reinforces the agency’s competitive grip across pop and alternative live touring.

Will signing with CAA help LANY lock in top-line billing at major North American festivals like Coachella or Outside Lands? Do you expect LANY’s next album cycle to incorporate more major collaborative projects with CAA roster peers?
