  • KATSEYE and Sanrio's Kuromi have launched a multi-category capsule collection exclusive to Target, arriving in stores and online nationwide August 14, 2026.
  • The 30-plus-item line spans apparel, collectibles, drinkware, and snacks, priced from $1.99 to $30.
  • The drop is timed to the release of KATSEYE's third EP, WILD, and coincides with the group's KCON LA appearance (August 14–16).
  • This is KATSEYE's first collaboration with Sanrio and adds to a fast-growing brand portfolio that already spans fashion, beauty, and wellness.

KATSEYE and Sanrio’s rebellious mascot Kuromi are joining forces for a new capsule collection landing exclusively at Target. The line hits Target.com and stores nationwide on August 14, timed squarely with the release of KATSEYE’s third EP, WILD.

The assortment spans apparel, collectibles, drinkware, and snacks. Graphic tees pairing Kuromi with individual KATSEYE members, a matching grey crewneck sweatsuit, a Kuromi ears beanie, and a purple stadium-ready clear bag anchor the fashion line ($10–$30).

Collectibles include a Kuromi plush charm, keychain, figurines, and KATSEYE trading cards starting at $6.99, while insulated tumblers in Kuromi purple run $22.99.

Rounding things out: cookie rolls, mochi bites, freeze-dried candy, popping candy, and exclusive A-SHA ramen and boba packaging, priced $1.99–$9.99.

“When we first imagined this collaboration, Kuromi and KATSEYE felt like the perfect pairing,” said Sanrio SVP of Brand Jill Koch, noting both “encourage fans to embrace who they are.” KATSEYE echoed the sentiment, saying they “can’t wait for fans to have fun with these pieces and make them their own.”

Fans can preview select items in person at KCON LA inside Sanrio’s “Kuromi’s Mischief Mansion” activation.

The drop adds to a rapid-fire year for KATSEYE. The group teamed up with Gap on a member-designed hoodie collection following their Coachella debut, and in April fronted Matrix’s “Power of Transformation” campaign as the haircare brand’s global ambassadors.

Earlier this year, they unveiled the Gabriela Smoothie with Erewhon, adding to a portfolio that includes Laneige and State Farm.

Takeaways

This is peak “cross the streams” marketing: two fanbases (pop stans and Sanrio’s kawaii-loyal shoppers) funneled into the same Target aisle.

Tying the launch to WILD‘s release turns a merch drop into a built-in promotional extension of the EP rollout rather than a standalone moment.

It also reflects something bigger: barely two years in, KATSEYE isn’t collecting one-off endorsements anymore; they’re building an actual lifestyle portfolio across beauty, wellness, fashion, and now character IP.

Does teaming with an established IP like Kuromi help KATSEYE reach new, possibly younger fans? Across beauty, wellness, and now character merch, which category do you think resonates most with KATSEYE’s fanbase? Could this open the door for more K-pop-adjacent acts to land Sanrio collaborations?
