Justin Champagnie Signs With UNLTD For Representation

Celebrity Name:Justin Champagnie
New Representation Type:Agency
New Company:UNLTD Sports Group
Primary Agent:Nick Blatchford
Department:Off-Field, On-Field
  • Justin Champagnie, a Washington Wizards forward, has signed with UNLTD Sports Group for on-field and off-field representation under agent Nick Blatchford.
  • The move ends his run with Daniel Hazan of Hazan Sports Management, who negotiated his current four-year, $9.8 million Wizards deal.
  • The move reunites him professionally with his twin brother, Julian Champagnie, a Blatchford client who just signed a three-year, $45 million extension with the San Antonio Spurs.
  • UNLTD Sports Group has been building out its NBA roster in 2026 alongside a broader wave of representation shake-ups league-wide.

Justin Champagnie has signed with UNLTD Sports Group for on-field and off-field representation, working with agent Nick Blatchford, an NBPA-certified agent and UNLTD co-founder who previously spent over five years at Under Armour directing global sports marketing before helping build UNLTD’s athlete roster.

The switch ends Champagnie’s run with Daniel Hazan of Hazan Sports Management, the agent who finalized Champagnie’s four-year, roughly $10 million deal with Washington.

Champagnie originally entered the pros through Life Sports Agency after signing with the agency and staying in the 2021 NBA Draft rather than returning to Pitt.

On the court, Champagnie is coming off his best NBA stretch yet. As a starter for Washington this past season, he averaged 10.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 threes per game on 51/40/91 shooting splits. He also served a one-game suspension in March 2026 for an on-court altercation that spilled into the stands during a game against Oklahoma City.

His twin brother, Julian Champagnie, is already Blatchford’s client and is repped by Nick Blatchford of UNLTD Sports Group. Julian just agreed to a three-year, $45 million extension keeping him in San Antonio through 2028-29, fresh off the Spurs’ 2026 Finals run.

The signing fits a wider pattern this summer of NBA players shaking up their rep teams. Basketball agencies have been especially active in 2026: Creative Artists Agency recently landed Domantas Sabonis, adding to a run that already included Pelle Larsson, while Gersh Sports picked up Cody Martin.

Takeaways

Reuniting with your twin’s agent isn’t just sentimental; it’s a bet that shared representation means shared leverage, shared visibility, and a team that already knows how to market “the Champagnie brand” as a pair, not just two individual contracts.

Timing matters here too. Champagnie is entering a partially non-guaranteed year in Washington, so new representation right now is about building leverage ahead of his next deal, not cashing in on one he’s already got.

Would shared representation with Julian create marketing opportunities (co-branded deals, joint appearances) that separate agencies couldn’t offer either twin alone? Does UNLTD’s smaller, boutique-style roster make sense for a rotation player trying to lock down a bigger role, versus a mega-agency with more front-office relationships?
