Julian Love Signs With Athletes First For Representation

Celebrity Name:Julian Love
New Representation Type:Agency
New Company:Athletes First

Department:Brand Partnerships, On-Field, Off-Field
  • Julian Love (Seahawks safety) signs with Athletes First for brand partnerships and on/off-field representation.
  • Kyle McCarthy will serve as his primary agent,
  • Love continues with Rosenhaus Sports Representation for public relations.
  • The move comes off a 2025 season in which Love was ranked PFF's 6th-best safety despite missing time with a hamstring injury.

Julian Love, the Seattle Seahawks safety and Super Bowl LX champion, has signed with Athletes First for representation, with Kyle McCarthy leading brand partnerships and on- and off-field matters. Love continues with Rosenhaus Sports Representation for public relations.

Love, a 2019 fourth-round pick out of Notre Dame, spent his first four NFL seasons with the New York Giants before signing with Seattle as a free agent in March 2023. He quickly became a defensive anchor, earning a Pro Bowl nod that year and a three-year, $36 million extension in July 2024.

Last season, Love missed over two months with a hamstring injury but still graded as Pro Football Focus’s sixth-best safety in the league, closing the year with a Super Bowl LX win over the Patriots.

Athletes First, a Laguna Hills-based firm representing players, coaches, and broadcasters since 2001, has been active with new signings in 2026. The agency recently added defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr., and Claudin Cherelus to its roster.

The arrangement splits Love’s representation: Rosenhaus Sports Representation, which negotiated his 2023 free-agent deal and 2024 extension, would continue handling public relations, while Athletes First takes over brand partnerships and on/off-field representation going forward.

Takeaways

This split representation setup suggests Julian Love is diversifying his team rather than replacing it outright; keeping a trusted PR relationship in place while bringing in fresh expertise for brand growth.

Is a split rep arrangement (one firm for PR, another for brand deals) common for established veterans? Would this signal that Love is preparing for bigger endorsement opportunities post-Super Bowl win?
