JT has stepped into footwear design, teaming with Italian designer Gio Forbice’s label Supplier Earth on a limited-edition flip-flop heel collection.
The rapper announced the partnership on Instagram on July 28, writing, “I have a shoeeeee with @supplier.earth,” with Forbice following up with his own posts unveiling the shoes.
The collection includes two styles: the Art.001 Flip Flop Heel, standing 110mm tall, and the shorter Art.002 at 55mm. Both retail for $115 and are built from EVA foam, the material that has defined Supplier Earth’s aesthetic since the label’s early days.
Sizes run 36 to 41, with colorways spanning white, sand, black, baby pink, and acid green, plus an exclusive “JT Pink” option. Just 250 pairs are available worldwide, sold only through supplier.earth.
The drop lands during a busy year for JT. Weeks earlier, she appeared alongside DJ Khaled, Azzy Milan, and Reggie Travers in SNIPES’ “Pull Up Fresh” back-to-school campaign, continuing her run as one of retail’s go-to faces for youth-driven marketing.
She’s also the current face of Flower by Edie Parker’s “High in the 305” cannabis campaign and has previously partnered with KISS Colors & Care and MAC Cosmetics, making Supplier Earth her first dedicated footwear collaboration.
On the music side, JT is prepping her first major solo project since 2024’s City Cinderella, including a collaboration with UK rapper Little Simz titled “Game On.”
She and longtime partner Lil Uzi Vert, together since 2019, have both stayed active this year, with Uzi releasing new music under his independent Roc Nation Distribution deal.
Supplier Earth is a comparatively young label, and its flip-flop heel silhouette has anchored the brand’s identity since its early days.
The tie-up also fits a broader pattern of footwear brands turning to music talent this year: Crocs named Mabel its newest brand ambassador in April, while Reebok tapped K-Trap, Lisa Maffia, MC Bushkin and Gully Guy Leo for its “The Give Back” film series in July.
Takeaways
A niche Italian footwear label linking with a Miami rap star is an unusual pairing on paper, but it tracks with how independent fashion brands are using celebrity drops to break into the mainstream fast — 250 pairs and a name like JT’s is enough to sell out and generate coverage without a mass-market budget.
For JT, it’s a low-lift, high-visibility add to a year already stacked with beauty, cannabis and retail deals, and it signals she’s positioning herself as a genuine style figure, not just a musician doing paid posts.
Does a 250-pair cap make the JT x Supplier Earth heel more of a collector’s item than a wearable fashion release? Could this be the moment Supplier Earth breaks out of niche fashion circles and into mainstream footwear conversation?
