Halle Berry has teamed up with intimate wellness brand Joylux to launch Juicy Like a Peach, an FDA-cleared vaginal dryness treatment announced July 8, 2026.
The gel is the first U.S. intimate health product built on HPMC-5, an ingredient long used in medical tissue care, now reformulated to create a breathable barrier that helps retain moisture and ease discomfort during sex.
Berry founded the menopause wellness company Respin in 2020 after being misdiagnosed during perimenopause, an experience that pushed her into health advocacy, including standing with U.S. senators in support of the Advancing Menopause Care and Mid-Life Women’s Health Act.
She has said the new gel moves the conversation past awareness by offering women an actual solution, calling it a genuinely new approach rather than another version of an existing product.
This marks Berry and Joylux’s second collaboration. In September 2024, the pair launched the Let’s Spin intimacy gel and the vFit+ Red Light Intimate Wellness Device under the Respin x Joylux name.
Joylux Founder Colette Courtion has said Juicy Like a Peach reflects the brand’s push to bring meaningful innovation to a treatment category that has changed little in decades.
The product launched online in July and expanded into more than 400 Ulta Beauty stores nationwide starting July 26, priced at $49 at retail, or from $43 with a subscription.
The launch adds to a run of celebrity-backed menopause and women’s health campaigns this year. Mel B recently signed on as a brand ambassador for Revive Collagen’s new menopause range, while Misty Copeland and Lana Condor fronted a women’s health campaign for Thorne.
Berry, who turns 60 on August 14, continues to balance the advocacy work with acting, currently starring in the 2026 thriller “Crime 101” alongside Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo.
Takeaways
This isn’t a one-off endorsement; it’s Berry’s second product line with Joylux in under two years, which says more about long-term brand alignment than a quick payday.
It also signals where beauty and wellness are heading: menopause, once treated as a taboo topic, is now driving real product innovation (a genuinely new ingredient, not just a repackaged formula) and real retail expansion into major chains like Ulta.
Berry’s personal health story is doing a lot of the marketing work here, which raises a fair question about how much a founder’s authenticity should matter when the product still has to perform on its own.
Does Halle Berry being both an investor in and the face of Joylux make the brand feel more credible, or does it blur the line between advocacy and advertising? Would you trust a wellness product more knowing the celebrity behind it also has a financial stake in the company?
