Ella Langley and Shiner are turning years of goodwill into an official beer collaboration. The Alabama-born country star and the Texas-based brewer have confirmed Shiner’s Dandelion Honey Kölsch, a limited-release brew named for the title track of Langley’s record-setting sophomore album, Dandelion.

The beer arrives August 13, and Shiner is marking the debut with a free, denim-themed party at Otto’s Ice House in San Antonio from 6 to 9 p.m., featuring a DJ spinning Langley’s biggest hits, local vendors, and a raffle.

The two aren’t strangers. Shiner’s flagship Shiner Bock already had a starring cameo in the music video for “Choosin’ Texas,” Langley’s breakout single, which spent 15 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.

The brewer has a history of pairing with Texas country talent, including past tie-ups with Wade Bowen and the Randy Rogers Band as part of its long-running “This Is Shiner Country” campaign built around live music.

For Langley, the beer marks her latest brand move in a breakout year. She wrapped her first beauty deal with Noyz, co-creating the “Be Her” fragrance ahead of its Stagecoach debut, and she remains American Eagle’s “Denim Darling,” having starred in the retailer’s Jeans Country campaign this spring.

She also launched a Peaches & Honey energy drink with BUM Energy last month. Her Dandelion album, co-produced with Miranda Lambert and Ben West, gave Langley her first No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and she’s currently on her sold-out Dandelion Tour.

Langley headlines a concert at Austin’s Moody Center the same night as the Shiner launch party, just an hour from San Antonio.

Takeaways

This deal is about as low-risk as brand partnerships get, and that’s what makes it smart. Shiner isn’t betting on a stranger; its beer was already woven into Langley’s biggest music moment, so this feels less like a sponsorship and more like a natural next chapter.

For Langley, it’s another lane opened in a year that’s already included fashion, fragrance, and energy drinks, proof she’s building a real lifestyle brand around her Southern identity rather than chasing one-off paydays.

Does Shiner’s move into flavored, limited-run beers (versus its dark-lager legacy) signal a bigger shift in craft beer trends? Could the Moody Center/Otto’s Ice House timing turn into a surprise Langley appearance, and would that change how fans view “authentic” brand tie-ins?
