Actress and singer DomiNque Perry has signed with ColorCreative for full management representation. Talent managers Ashley Calloway and Raj Raghavan will manage her career.
Perry was previously managed by April King at Kingdom Management and continues to work with Stewart Talent for her theatrical film and television work.
Perry currently stars as Aja, the loyal best friend of private investigator Diarra Brickland, in the mystery comedy Diarra From Detroit alongside series creator Diarra Kilpatrick. The series moved to Paramount+ for its second season.
In late 2025, Perry starred opposite Lil Rel Howery in the Starz original feature Unexpected Christmas. She also appeared in the 2025 hit theatrical buddy comedy One of Them Days, which starred Keke Palmer and was produced by ColorCreative alongside Issa Rae’s Hoorae Media.
Perry first gained widespread recognition for her role as Tasha on HBO’s award-winning comedy Insecure. Over her career, she has built an impressive resume with credits including Max’s Rap Sh!t, Peacock’s Bust Down, and the feature film Get Hard.
This signing marks another step in ColorCreative’s steady growth. The management firm made headlines when Vic Mensa signed for management, expanding the company’s multi-hyphenate music and film footprint. The agency strengthened its internal team when Trey Witter joined as a manager.
Takeaways
DomiNque Perry’s move to ColorCreative formalizes a long-standing, fruitful relationship with the creative ecosystem founded by Issa Rae and Deniese Davis.
Having already made memorable appearances across Rae-backed projects like Insecure, Rap Sh!t, and One of Them Days, Perry’s signing signals a push toward leading roles, development deals, and multi-hyphenate opportunities.
For ColorCreative, adding Perry builds on recent momentum in signing versatile screen and musical talent, reinforcing the firm’s standing as a premier destination for multifaceted storytellers.
Will this management deal lead to Perry producing or developing her own original television and film projects under ColorCreative? Could we see Perry step into more leading feature film roles following the success of One of Them Days and Diarra From Detroit?
