Álvaro Morata Named Global Brand Ambassador for INMOTION

Celebrity Name:Álvaro Morata
Brand:INMOTION
Deal Type:Global Brand Ambassador
Announced:July 1, 2026
  • Álvaro Morata is now the global face of INMOTION, a San Diego-based premium electric mobility brand.
  • The campaign features Morata riding the RS JET electric scooter and the P6 electric unicycle.
  • It's Morata's second power-sports ambassador deal in weeks, following his June partnership with TEWA MOTO.
  • The rollout hits digital, retail, and community channels globally throughout 2026.

Spanish striker Álvaro Morata has a new gig off the pitch: global brand ambassador for INMOTION, the electric mobility company known for its unicycles and scooters. The announcement dropped July 1 out of San Diego, tying Morata’s on-field reputation for balance and control to the brand’s engineering pitch.

The campaign puts Morata behind two flagship products: the RS JET electric scooter, built for power and stability, and the P6 electric unicycle, which runs on a 235V platform with hydraulic suspension and app-based customization.

“Movement is part of who I am,” Morata said. “On the pitch, I look for control, timing and flow. That is what I feel with INMOTION.” An INMOTION spokesperson echoed the fit, pointing to shared values of “focus, precision, confidence.”

This isn’t Morata’s first move into electric vehicles this summer. Just weeks earlier, he signed on as global ambassador for TEWA MOTO, a power-sports brand prepping an electric dirt bike, personal watercraft, and side-by-side vehicle for 2026 and 2027 launches.

Together, the two deals mark a deliberate pivot toward green mobility endorsements for the Como forward, who captained Spain to the Euro 2024 title and has represented Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, Atlético Madrid, AC Milan, and Galatasaray over his career.

The deal also fits a broader pattern of athletes fronting tech brands this year, not unlike Enzo Fernández’s ambassadorship with BingX or David Villa’s recent BitradeX signing, where brands lean on footballers’ discipline and global reach to sell products far outside the sport itself.

INMOTION, founded in 2012, has built its identity around clean, city-friendly personal transport, spanning commuting, off-road riding, and performance use cases, making Morata’s dual-product debut a fairly direct showcase of that range.

Takeaways

Morata’s summer looks less like a coincidence and more like a strategy: two electric-mobility ambassadorships in as many weeks signals real intent to build a lane in green transportation branding, not just collect one-off checks.

For INMOTION, landing a Euro 2024-winning captain gives the brand instant international credibility as it pushes beyond niche EUC enthusiasts into the mainstream.

Is Morata positioning himself as the go-to footballer for EV and mobility brands? Could this open the door for more footballers to lean into micro-mobility endorsements? Will INMOTION’s bet on athletic credibility actually move product, or is this a pure brand awareness play?
