Jason Mageau, a seasoned artist manager renowned for his work with rock and metal acts, has departed from Roc Nation to establish Culture Wave, a new venture in collaboration with Red Light Management. This strategic partnership aims to leverage Red Light’s extensive resources and industry expertise to provide comprehensive management services to a diverse roster of artists.
Prior to this move, Mageau was instrumental in developing Roc Nation’s rock department, informally known as “Roc(k) Nation.” He managed several prominent artists, including Spiritbox, Code Orange, Brand of Sacrifice, Loathe, and We Came As Romans. His management style emphasized organic growth and a clear vision for each artist, moving beyond traditional album-tour cycles.
With the launch of Culture Wave, Mageau aims to continue his commitment to artist development and success, utilizing the combined strengths of his new venture and Red Light Management to navigate the evolving music industry landscape.
